Baby has enlarged right kidney. Anyone else dealt with this?

Went for an ultrasound today to check on my shortened cervix again. I am 31 weeks. During the ultrasound they discovered my sons right kidney is enlarged. I have to see a high risk doctor next week for another ultrasound. 
Has this ever happened to any of you? What was the outcome?

Answer

Yes it happened to me and I developed obstetric cholastasis with it. When he was born he has to have a check every now and again and some fluid pumped into his kidney to see how it was developing. He was discharged from hospital at 10months and his kidney went back to the size it should have been. Also he had medicine through a syringe for his first few months to help. He’s 5 now and no heath problems what so ever 😬

I was told both kidneys on my son are enlarged. I go to the high risk doctor on Friday! My doctor said it’s really common in boys and usually resolves on its own.
