Is it normal to hurt for this long?

My fiance and I had an ectopic in March 2015. Four years later it still hurts just as bad, along with the struggles of trying to conceive again. Has anyone else hurt for this long? I haven't really been too open about it I'm not sure what to do.

If you are physically still hurting you might have abdominal adhesion(s) where scar tissue glues your organs (in this case you tube) to your inner abdomen muscle/tissue. it can be very painful and requires surgery to release. only your doc can tell for sure.

I got my appendix in 2015 and it still bugs me at times. You could see your doc, see if its scar tissue.
