My husband called me right after I finished work today, and told me that he quit his job today. I was a shocked, because we both hated his job, and he had threatened for awhile that he was going to quit his job, but I thought he would give me warning about when he was actually going to do it. He supposedly has a better job lined up for Monday, and he thought that I would be happy that he quit, but his new job is through a buddy of his, and that doesn't always work out. We have quite a bit in savings, so we shouldn't be in any immediate financial danger. I just wish he had consulted with me first.
