Healthy Natural Hair
I’ve been natural for 3 years now. My hair has grown and thicken up a lot from when it was damaged from relaxers. But I didn’t really know how to take care of natural hair. I just saw all my friends with big fros and long natural hair; I thought it was extremely beautiful. At first, I was washing it everyday and not really oiling it 😬. I think I have 4c hair btw. Now I’m trying to wash it once a week, but it gets so tangled that wetting it in the shower is the only way I can pick it out. My hair isn’t super long, it’s to my chin line. It’s also shedding a lot when I actually do comb it. I also started using coconut oil. I just want beautiful defined curls and I want my hair to grow. Now with my new hair routine, I don’t know why it’s still “damaged” and shedding so much. Any tips for healthier hair??

My hair is between the first two (maybe one more than the other). If I were to pull it down like that you’ll be able to “see through” it and it’s fizzy.
