Best time to do 3D ultrasound?

When’s the best time to do a 3D ultrasound?? How many weeks?
I’m 29 weeks and trying to figure out when to do one.

My best friend is a fetal ultrasound tech and I actually asked her this question yesterday! 
She said 27/28 weeks is when you want a 3D if your just wanting to see a chunkier baby. She said that’s when they really start looking like true babies with a enough chub so they aren’t so scary looking 😂😂

Heres a few of mine I was 28+3. She was hugging my right hip most the time so a bit difficult but got some adorable pics of the little girl

The place I went to said the best time was between 28-32 weeks.

I am going today and I am 31 weeks and was told not to go any later than 32 weeks but not too early either

Before 29weeks .. Keep in mind that if baby is head down it’ll be very difficult to get the shots unless they’re also facing upwards. We went in at 30, 31, and 32 weeks and baby was head down and facing backwards or sideways and we couldn’t get the shots. It was a waste of money for us.
