Another "Pee or waters?" post

Sorry, I'm that girl. Never thought I would be. But I really cant tell. What do you think? Im 39 and 5 days. Due date is Monday the 6th. So I was sleeping and felt liquid coming out. It was at 5am. It woke me up out of a dead sleep. But it was only like 1 tablespoon. I had to change my underwear. But I'm like would I really just start peeing myself in my bed while asleep? I had gotten up to pee already multiple times last night like I always do. And yeah I had to pee at 5am when it happened. But it felt like discharge coming out. It didn't smell like pee. But why so little and then nothing since? I'm just waiting to see if it does it again. If this has happened to you and it was your water breaking - how long in between gushes for you? Like 5 minutes or 5 hours?

Now I lost some of my mucus plug 😁😁😁😁😁 that's the first time for me this whole pregnancy. Things are definitely brewing today. I walked a really big mall today. That must've helped. Getting excited!! Adding stuff to my hospital bag. Totally didn't think about packing my other kids overnight bags to stay at their grandmas! Duh!

This time I woke up out of a dead sleep - only an hour after initially falling asleep. My tummy felt super tight and full - felt a little different than just a full bladder (my tummy had been feeling odd that day anyways). I thought about not getting up but I felt really full and needed relief. So I got up sat down and peed. Went to wipe them the toilet paper was really wet like watery discharge. Right after I wiped more water came out which I thought was odd cause it didn’t feel like I had to pee more but I sat there and more kept coming out in weird spurts. I knew it was my water cause if you stand up and walk around more comes out. This was the second time my water broke at home. Last time I didn’t wear a pad so I was soaked when I walked in and it was obvious for the nurses. This time when I went in with a pad. The little paper test didn’t reflect like my water broke but she said it’s not always accurate. Then with the cervical check she got up in there and made sure more fluid came out to ‘prove’ my water broke which I thought was weird. I feel like when it happens you’ll know! Good luck!

I've had no more since then. So I'm not calling or going in yet. Unless or until it happens a 2nd time I'm going to assume it was pee lol.

I would try laying down again and see if you feel anymore. When you’re standing, baby’s head can act as a plug/stopper.

My membranes ruptured during labor with my son, but I had absolutely no fluid at all. No gushes, no trickles, completely dry. So, I would go in and have them test if you're unsure as it varies so much.

Mine was a small gush like that with my first. I never had pee problems so I really didn’t think I peed my pants. It happened at 4:45. Once I got up again at like 6 I started bouncing on the ball and eventually more gushed out. When I put on my socks more came out lol. It was just coming out in small doses. By 9 i called and they said to come in. Just start moving around and see what happens!
