How much was spent on your baby shower?

Including venue, food, decor and extras .
I’m looking to book a venue that’s $150 for 4hrs and they provide a cater which is billed separately and charges per person . All of that roughly is already $500 for 50 people 😬  not including decorations/party planner

Friends and family are throwing my 3 showers (140 women had to be split up) so I’m not sure how much it will cost them. One at work, one at a winery, one at a country club. I think that’s what you mean by free of charge- that I’m not paying?

I didn’t pay for any part of my two showers because people hosted them for us. But both were at homes, so there was no venue fee. Food was done by the hosts, so no catering or baking fees either. I know almost no one who pays for venues or caterers for anything other than weddings. Just isn’t the norm where I’m from.

My mother in law had given me my first 2 and both were no more than 100$ with my last baby I did not have a shower and I did not spend more then 30$ on things I needed. But i ended up having way more than i needed... The in laws got me the car seat stroller combo and a high chair and some clothing and dippers everything else I got on a facebook group called gifters... Pluse i had some stuff left from when my oldest was a baby

My showers have always been free for me and under $100 for those who threw it. Free venue and light decor and light snacks. I cannot imagine it being more than $100! Maybe it’s just where I live though...

I'm having 2 showers. 1 at my parents house so it's free to have there. And 1 in basement of my bank for $30. Reusing decorations for the two and making my own food so it's cheaper.
