Introvert + extrovert in a relationship..
How da f**k do we do to make it work?!
So honeymoonperiod is clearly over and practicalities in life are starting to take over. We’ve been madly in love for the first six months and gotten very close in short time despite living 2hrs away from each other.
Not a huge distance, but enough to require quite some effort to make things work.
We’re both in it for the long run, but I’m worried that our differencies are starting to build a growing gap between us.
He’s introvert and need lots of alone time. When he gets things his way - I’m left feeling more and more distanced from him.
I’m extrovert and need alot of contact, probably so much that I’m kindof suffocating him when I’m satisfied with time spent with each other.
How to make such a relationship work?! What are your magic tricks? I need all the support I can get since things are about to crack up here, and not in the funny way.
Honesty appreciated, but please don’t be harsh. 💚 thanks!
