Hospital bag?

Question

Hey loves first time mom and wondering what were some things I need to pack or buy for labor and delivery? Postpartum care, essentials for baby and mom. Things you think every mom needs while at the hospital delivering. Thanks in advance 💙

A longer phone charger, hair ties, chapstick are all helpful during labor. Bring snacks for after you give birth (regardless of what time that may be), because I gave birth at 2:40am, I didn’t have any food until later that morning around 8 or 9 and I was miserable. Basic shower supplies for afterwards, comfy clothes for you and easy accessible nursing bras and tops if that’s what you plan to do. You really don’t need a lot for baby! Bring just a few diapers, a small pack of wipes, really only 3 outfits (1 being going home outfit), a pacifier you prefer, etc. 
I always suggest packing a more extensive bag for at home in the case of an emergency c-section in that case you end up staying longer.

This is what I’m doing at home for a PP kit in my bathroom- they should have everything you need in the hospital for your stay though.

The only things i used were a phone charger, chap stick, a nursing bra, toiletries, and comfy clothes to go home in. 
For baby, a going home outfit and car seat. 
That’s all I’ll pack next time except I’ll add one of my haakaas.
