Any of u mamas have children with bowlegged? Is it normal? What do the doctor do?

I already went to see ortho. He refers my DD to do EEG and EMG. Already did that both last thursday. EMG everything is okay. EEG results havent got yet. At first they said friday last week. Then saturday. Now tuesday and they said not yet. Im very worried tho becoming crazy waiting for the result 😭 pray for my DD. Tq

Sounds like you’ve sought the right advice from your dr about this. It’s hard to wait but it’s the only thing you can do to get the correct diagnosis and/or treatment. One of my kiddos was bowlegged and grew out of it. Another had improper gait and grew out of it and the same one had pigeon toes and has also grown out of it. I had a little boy in daycare with bowlegs and he had to do physio and wear braces. Every case and child is different and your dr will treat as needed. For those saying it’s “normal” - it’s not but it’s also not the worst thing!

How old? My son isn’t bow legged but my sister was. Hers corrected it’s self but if it didn’t they were going to put braces on her legs to straighten them out
