I named my baby, but want to always call him by his nickname! Help!!!

I gave my baby what I consider to be a really solid, strong sounding name. The problem is, since the day he was born two months ago, I call him Bing Bing, and more frequently Bing.

Part of me wants to just call him Bing forever, like the actor Bing Crosby, because that’s who I see him as. My baby is Bing, not his given name at all. I don’t want to change his name and I want others to call him Bing as well.

Would I be crazy to continue to call him this? I know Miley Cyrus’ name was originally Destiny and her dad called her Smiley which turned into Miley.

It wouldn’t be the first time this has happened, that’s for sure! Is the name Bing to silly for this to work???
