When to pee on ovulation kits

Question

First time trying with ovulation tests this month and I’m not sure what time of day to use the ovulation sticks? Can anyone give me what they did and got pregnant? Like.. not FMU but then when? And I’m not allowed to drink a lot of heater because it messes with it?

I did morning and night. Around 10AM and 8-10PM. The directions for the kind I used recommended not peeing or drinking for 4 hours before testing.
I actually never got pregnant while using OPKs. The cycle I did get pregnant, my husband and I were both traveling separately and so I assumed we would miss ovulation anyway. I ended up ovulating pretty early (about cycle day 6), which is the only reason it was even possible to get pregnant.

I took it around 2pm each day a couple days after period ended and don't pee for 4 hours before hand and try not drink too much.

The directions should tell you. Except for clearblue advanced, they usually all say to use afternoon urine after a 4 hour hold, 2 hoir fluid restriction.
