So yesterday I had a WIC appt and my baby needs the special AR formula because she was chocking on her spit up after every meal even in between it was ridiculous and scary. So I go in & she’s like yeah we can’t give you the AR formula because she doesn’t qualify it only says she has “GERD” on the paper and we need something else like aspiration, losing weight etc.. so I’m here like you really not gonna give me the formula because it’s missing 1 word & she’s like yup. So I told her I’m gonna go back to my doctors office and add on that word because I’m not gonna sit there and watch my baby choke on her spit up. Next thing she’s asking me is how much is baby eating I’m like 3 or 3.5 oz she has the nerve to say “yeah that’s too much for her” I’m looking at her like who tf gave you this job. My baby is almost 6 weeks old and I’m reading how some mommas babies are eating 5 oz. She needs to reevaluate her job and go somewhere else... sorry for the rant but I’m just still mad about it.
