Those who ovulate on their own: Did Femara (letrozole) cause you to ovulate early or late?

I’m starting letrozole next cycle. I ovulate normally but due to male factor infertility we are trying to improve our chances with a medicated IUI next cycle. 
I’m SOOO worried I’m going to ovulate early and have to cancel the IUI. I normally ovulate on CD 13. Did it affect the day you ovulate? I’ll have a follicle scan on CD 12 and I’m going to be devastated if they tell my I already ovulated

Ask for the scan earlier! I ovulated 2 out of 3 times on cd10 on it (also ovulate normal myself)

I did 2 clomid cycles. Both I ovulate earlier than normal but 2nd time was only like 2 days earlier. Both times I went in for an ultrasound 5 days after my last pill to monitor and then used OPK

Just wanted to update for anyone that searches this topic later. I normally ovulate around CD 14. I had 2 mature follicles on CD 11 first round of Femara.

I used to ovulate late (cd 22 or later) but I just did my first round of Femara earlier this month, and I got my peak on cd 16. The goal was to have me ovulate on cd 12-14, but I am still feeling good about it because I was still in the normal range (just not as early as hoped). Tomorrow I go in for the bloodwork to confirm I actually ovulated, but I had cramps my left side the day of my peak, so I’m fairly confident I did. 
The reason I took Femara was to get me to ovulate early, though, since I was ovulating too late previously.

it’s moved up my ovulation day by a couple days, so my dr moved up the scans accordingly. have you discussed it with your dr?

I ovulated on the same exact day I usually do... I was nervous my first time too! But I think all it did for me was give me more follicles. I had my scan on CD 11... my doctor told me to begin testing CD10. I took letrozole from CD3-7. They told me if I get a positive test before the scan we would by pass and just do the iui.... it will be ok 🙏🙏🙏
