Membrane sweep guilt?

Am I alone on feeling a twinge of guilt in regards to getting a membrane sweep? I’m a ftm and am 38 weeks. Dr. visit yesterday showed I’m still 1cm, 70% effaced and baby girl has dropped a little more- close to engaged. Due date is May 22, but she’s measuring a week ahead- my doc estimates she’ll be 8.5lbs-ish when she arrives. I’m tall and my doc noted that she’s confident with my progress and there’s no rush. She said the ball is in my court if I decide to do it next week, depending on progress.

Yeah, I’m a little over being pregnant- I just want to meet her, hold her and be a mommy already, and yeah I’m going through the common discomforts we’re all experiencing, but in reality it’s really not that bad. (My biggest complaint is sleep quality!) At this point in my pregnancy, as I plan to do in labor, I just want to witness and experience nature at work. My heart says no and just to be patient and what happens happens and what will be will be. This has been such a divine journey and I honor and respect Mother Nature- I feel weird at the thought of interfering with the natural process of things. Anyone else feel the same or am I just overthinking it? Membrane sweeping and inducing is all over this feed and maybe I’m letting it get to into my head too much..
