I have been having a pain in my left armpit and figured it was just an ingrown hair but it looks a bit swollen and hurts when I move my arm or touch my armpit. It’s also hard in the area that hurts

Swelling in your armpits could be swollen lymph nodes. I know that lumps in your armpits can also be breast cancer, but I don’t know if those would hurt. I would go see your doctor just in case.

If it hadn't gone away or improved by three days I'd see a doctor. Might be nothing, could just be a swollen lymph nodes. But if it doesn't go away, it could be a sign of something that needs attention. Don't freak out, it might just be an infection that would need antibiotics.
