I found out my little guy has a single umbilical artery the other day. He is in perfect health besides this but my doctor said I am now considered high risk. I am looking for opinions from other Moms..What is the likelihood that I will have a c-section?

With my last pregnancy my fighter has a single artery, we weren’t considered high risk. 
We just did extra scans to make sure she was growing appropriately and I had a vaginal delivery. 
No issues at all.

I have SUA too, going through more frequent ultrasounds as well. So far everything looks good. He is growing and gaining weight as expected. :)

Had one with my first baby girl and just needed extra ultra sounds to make sure she was growing good had a vaginal delivery and everything went good. My son did not have this but now I’m pregnant with baby girl #3 and she to has this there not considering me high risk there just going extra ultra sounds to make sure she is growing right just like with my first everything is good so far. Try not to stress to much about it I’m sure your lo will be fine and you will have a normal delivery good luck ! Congratulations 💙

My first had SUA, and I was high risk for because of that couple with other reasons that were unrelated. SUA on it's own, my doctor said, is not innately bad, but it leads to closer monitoring. We had ultrasounds every appointment and NST every other week at the end, but my baby was born healthy without a C-section.

I have a SUA too, they considered me high risk pregnancy but just because I have to see an MFM for extra ultrasounds, but baby boy is growing just perfectly right now!

US tech here. A single artery alone isn't going to increase your risk of a C-section. It does, however, increase your risk for some complications (slightly, most times there are not issues with this if it is the only anomaly) that might make a C-section more likely or even necessary. This is why you'll be monitored a little more closely, just to be sure such complications don't develop and that you're aware of them asap if they do. Every doc practices a little differently, so you should have a discussion with your OB about what might constitute a need for C-section in their eyes, especially if you have your heart set on a vaginal delivery.
