Am I having a chemical pregnancy?

2 days ago, I got a VERY surprising positive pregnancy test way earlier than I was expecting. Clear as day. Confirmed by multiple other tests. This morning, before I went to get my labs drawn for HCG and Progesterone, I did one last one just to put my mind at ease with FMU. The line was SO MUCH LIGHTER than the days before. Still positive, but much lighter. I have had a chemical before and now I am nervous! Why would my test be lighter with FMU??? I’m worried due to the timing of my positive (WAY before my missed period) tests and the line getting lighter, I’m about to have some very sad bloodwork results. What do you guys think?

Line intensity means very little. As long as it’s showing positive, you’re still in the running for a healthy baby. Do your bloodwork and let the professionals decided if you need to be concerned. Good luck momma!

Giiiirl, I feel your pain! Going through the very same thing right now. However, I have read that your morning urine can still be slightly more diluted than a few days before. This could be due to your water intake the day before etc. I know it’s so hard not to worry but try and not stress until you get your blood results back.

Darkness of the line on the test can vary based on the test itself (different batches of test are not necessarily identical) and the concentration of your urine. 
Personally, my tests were always darker in the afternoon because I took them after running around at work all day (not drinking enough water).
I tested with Clinical Guard strips everyday for like two weeks after my BFP, and several of those were a lot lighter and it freaked me out, but now I’m 28 weeks. 
Try to distract yourself while you wait for the results— hopefully everything is fine, but the best thing you can do for yourself is try not to stress.

It could be, but it very well could just be that your urine is a bit more diluted. With my chemicals they got lighter before I started bleeding, but with my current pregnancy (13 weeks and healthy) I had a lighter test than the day before a few times when I was testing every day. There's really no way to know for sure unless you get your HCG levels drawn or wait a few days but don't worry!
