Miscarriage with no symptoms?

I’m somewhere between 7-9 weeks and during an abdominal U/S yesterday, they saw a sac but no baby. 
Has this happened to anyone? I go back tomorrow for a transvaginal to see if they can see anything. 😞

You might be a lot earlier than you think. I’m went to my first appt thinking I was 8+ weeks and it turned out I was only 6

I had absolutely no symptoms. Went to 1st US baby was fine went to 12 week apt no heartbeat

I had ultrasound at 8 w5 d they could see a baby with a abdominal ultrasound.
