Counting kicks?

They say he needs to kick 10 times in an hour and if he doesn't then go to the E.R. but sometimes I feel like hes just chillin. And it's making me paranoid thinking something is wrong when I'm sure hes just fine?

Usually it’s 10 kicks per hour during a specific time every day. Not 10 kicks every hour

That normally doesn't start till 28 weeks. 
You can eat something sweet or spicey or drink juice then lay down and give it about 45mins to get to baby then see what they do. 
They have more active times though and that's the best for when you count. The further along you get you learn the more active times for them and when to count. They have a lot of sleeping time still for growing before 28 weeks. They are more active and bigger after 28 weeks for you to feel them and that's why doctors recommend the counting at 28+ weeks.

I’m 27 weeks 4 days with my first and am always nervous about kicks and movement. It doesn’t help that I have an anterior placenta to everything is dull.
