Yesterday marked 16 weeks exactly for me. I have not had any spotting or bleeding this entire pregnancy. Yesterday it started as light pinkish brown spotting. Haven’t had sex since Saturday, and exercised Monday and Tuesday. I called my OB and they got me in. When I got there and went to give my urine sample, there was quite a bit of bright red bleeding. No clots. I had a speculum exam, abdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds and the Dr said that everything looked ok, baby’s heart rate was good. The dr could see where the bleeding was coming from and said it looked “bruised” on the ultrasound. He put me on pelvic rest and no exercise until I go back for my anatomy scan on May 21st. Has anyone else had bleeding around 16 weeks that resulted in nothing ? I know they told me everything was ok but I can’t help but be so scared and nervous for my baby!😰
