Unfavorable cervix

Just had my check up at 38 weeks and 4 days. Doctor said I’m about 1 cm, still firm & high up. Baby is head down but facing up :/

I’m being induced Monday night. And he said my c-section rate is about 40% right now because I have a unfavorable cervix.

Obviously I want whatever gets him out the safest.. but I just really wanted to do this delivery vaginally.

Does anyone have any success stories where they had a “unfavorable cervix” or a baby that was face up and ended up having a good & safe vaginal delivery?
