My best friend started dating this guy around March . Since March she’s only seen him a total of 4 times. He responds to her texts occasionally. He tells her that he’s just too busy with his job and his rental property. I feel like it’s a dead end. People make time for the things that are important.
They live in the same city

Nobody is ever "too busy". People make time for who they want to make time for...
I consider myself to have a pretty busy life, but I still find time for close friends/fam. Now do I get to actually see them much these days? No, sadly not, but guess what?...there are other ways to communicate. Texting takes 2 seconds. I also try to find out when we both have an open window for a phone call, even if it's just for a few mins. My point is that it doesn't take much of an effort to check in & say hello.

that’s what, 6-8 weeks now? so he’s seen her every two weeks or so probably. in my book, that’s unacceptable 🤷🏻‍♀️ if she means something to him, he’d be able to carve out more time to see her or even answer a simple text. a phone call or facetime chat. as his girlfriend, she should be one of his top priorities! not someone he remembers to acknowledge when he “has time”
