How do I let my milk dry up?

I’m a FTM and I didn’t plan on breast feeding but my milk still came in. The was engorged yesterday so I pumped an ounce out of each breast and today they have been fine. Does this mean I don’t need to do anything else for them to dry up? Any advice on how to let it dry up would be greatly appreciated!

Wear a sports bra and try cabbage in the bra. Heard that helps. Don’t let any warm hit breasts.

I stopped cold turkey and just wore tight bras and hand expressed just enough to keep from being in pain.

Cabbage seriously works!! My milk came in and i was MISERABLE. My boobs were massive and someone told me to use cold cabbage. I put a cold cabbage leaf in my bra (i wore a normal bra and a tight sports bra together) for about 2 hours. I did this 3x in one day and my milk dried up!

Mint!  Rub peppermint EO on them, eat mints, drink peppermint tea. Will dry it right up
