Does anyone’s bf/husband not notice a new haircut?

I don’t know if it’s a big deal that he doesn’t notice when I get new haircut, this is like the 3 rd time, otherwise he is loving and caring but I don’t know what to make of it

So I had cut a few inches off my black, very curly hair. I kept going on and on about how I loved the way it looked and that it felt so much healthier. He kept agreeing until he finally said, you know honey it looks exactly the same to me. 😂😂😊 guys are clueless. Unless you cut 8 inches off and died it purple, I wouldn’t worry about it.

My husband is very detailed and notices, but I’m also in the mind set to tell him the things I want him to notice. “I got this new shirt! What do you think?”, or “I dyed my hair, do you like it?” Why would I expect him to guess at what’s new? Thats places unfair expectations on him and setting me up to be disappointed if he guesses wrong.

If it's a drastic cut then yeah I would be a little put off as to why my husband hasn't said anything. But again I always tell him what I'm going to do any changes I'll be making so he already knows before hand. However he will still tell me he likes it or not. If it's just a small cut like a trim then I don't expect him to say anything.

I mean I rarely cut my hair and when I do it’s drastic so my husband would have to be blind not to notice, but even if he didn’t notice it wouldn’t bother me personally. Noticing my hair isn’t gonna define our relationship
