How do you know if its BV or normal odor?

I've seen a lot of posts on here about bv and maybe I'm just being paranoid but idk. I haven't had any pain when peeing or abnormal discharge. But I do have a little odor? Idk if it's a normal odor tho? I took a shower around 2 today and put on some panties and leggings after, wore them the rest of the day, and now the crotch of my leggings have an odor? But I only smelt it when I actually smelt the crotch of my leggings? Should I have an odor already?? Its not like I went to the gym and worked out and got all sweaty?

The smell of BV is INTENSE it’s very strong and extremely itchy, you’d know!

Normal= no scent
BV= something that doesn't smell good at all. Maybe fishy odor, or trash smell.
#1 DONT BE EMBARASSED TO GO GET HELP! DOCTORS HAVE SEEN IT ALL!
#2 go to the health dept get tested to make sure you dont have anything! (DO NOT DOUCHE BEFORE YOU GO) if you douch before you go to the doctor, they wont be able to see or smell what's going on, therefore they can't help you!
#3 take all antibiotics, with lots of water!
#4 since you're all cleaned up inside, yiu gotta maintain it, get some (WHITE DOVE BAR SOAP) don't use any perfumed washes or scented soap for your body or your lady parts.
#5 eat pineapples every morning, drink a bottle of water every hour so you can measure your intake.
#6 wear cotton panties, and try to sleep without panties.
#7 no more unprotected sex, semen can give us so many problems, some cannot be untreated, so unless you're in a committed relationship, he needs to wear a condom, I dont care how much you like him or how hit the mood is, to protect your own body, buy sone condoms and keep them with u at all times! 
#8 try to avoid tampons, just imagain if u had a runny nose, and I stuck something in it... It would good and get infected, our vaginas are much worse and have tons if bacteria cooking, I know sometimes periods can be heavy, but if you want a pretty, good smelling, sweet tasting and clean vagina, follow my steps baby girl. And I promise if u keep this up, you will never wonder what's going in again.
