Any body have this problem with the depo shot??

I have been off the depo for about two months but i have yet to start my period. In the frist couple of weeks that i stopped it my boobs were really sore then it stop and i have yet to start. I got off of using it because i got super depressed and my mood swing were horrible. I am going on my 3 month of no period.....has this happen to anyone?

Sweetie it took me a year and a half to get my period back. I didn't bleed to badly. My cycle went back to normal. But I would never get it again. I've been hearing alot of stuff about it causing infertility or fertility issues with women. And I've been ttc for about 9 months now. And nothing..

Yes I would say it’s normal, when I went off depo I had a long period the next month and then had no period the following 2 months. My periods got a lot more short and lighter since (been 7 years since I’ve been off BC) Depo was the worst for me- my mood swings were crazy to the point that despite being on depo I had intense baby fever and almost convinced my partner that we were ready to start trying. It was like reverse BC for me-never again! We are now married and stick to condoms only since I’ll never go on hormonal BC again.

Any body have this problem with the depo shot??
