I should start off by saying my son is almost 6 weeks old and has been prescribed zantac but I'm not sure it's working and making his problem worse. He would spit up after feedings and throughout the day cough. Can't lay him on flat on his back even an hour after his feeding cause spit up would dribble out. Well today was the first projectile spit up and if was after I gave him zantac.

Anyways. I'm almost sure he has reflux because during his feedings when we're trying to burp him he'll fuss and arch his back and kick. Stops when I give him back the bottle. When I burp him sometimes I can feel the milk swoosh in his belly and he sometimes spits up with a burp. He gets hiccups a lot that sound watery as well as some of his burps. Anyways advice would be appreciated because I just want my little boy to be happy!
