If you truly have no preference at all and would be excited about either sex plus if you aren’t really a planner and don’t mind having non-gender specific items then I think a surprise would be a lot of fun!! If however you DO have a preference (even if it’s very slight) and/or if you are a planner, then I would find out!! That way if the gender is the opposite preference, you have time to prepare and let it sink in and get excited about it!

I’ve never regretted not finding out. ❤️ my husband told me with our first during my c-section then the 2nd I pulled her out and onto my own chest and I got to tell him. The third hubby told me again. We’re having our 4th in the fall and I can’t wait to find out again. It’s like Christmas morning ❤️ and there are so few surprises left in this world.

For our first, we chose not wanting to find out "one of the few surprises we still get"... But baby surprised us by constantly showing his junk during the anatomy scan 😂😂 my husband saw it and his face changed... So, we chose to have her confirm it was indeed a boy! This time I don't even want to guess 😂

Either way it's a surprise. I like to find out at the anatomy scan so I have time to build anticipation, but plenty of time to plan for baby. To me, it helps knowing the gender to feel more connected.

I have to know the sex because I need to feel like I’m in control/prepared... I like to surprise family but I will not be telling husband for awhile as last time he kept accidentally telling people what he was. So I made him aware this time I’m telling no one! Family probably won’t know until it’s born too.
