Applying for uni with low GPA. HELP!!!!

To start, I've finished all of my general education

I'm an electrical engineer major and have attended Fresno State. I'm a junior. However one semester I got severely ill on the week of midterms and couldn't reschedule and it was weeks past withdrawal so I got straight Fs that semester.

With that being said, I had a solid 2.8 GPA but that semester brought me down to a 1.9 and I left Fresno on academic disqualification. I live in a different state now and am trying to go to Arizona State online for their EE program but I can hardly get into uni now because of my 1.9

I have 65 credit hours !!! I don't have a lot of room to make up my GPA! What do I do? Fresno State refuses to take my semester off or give me a grace on that semester. Most unis require at least a 2.5 for general admission and EE is a 3.0.......im beyond stressed and upset about all of this and all counselors have been rejecting me even when I tell them I got sick. I need advice... Please! I just want to continue my education now that I'm better :(
