Your first pregnancy story?

Tell us about your first pregnancy. Was it planned or not? Were you excited or scared? How did your babie's father react? Tell us about how you told the news of how you were expecting?

With my first (now pregnant with second), she was planned. We tried one month. Got a positive, but it ended up being a chemical and I was devastated. We got the ok to start trying as soon as the bleeding ended. Got pregnant again right away and had a healthy pregnancy. At 36 weeks my BP skyrocketed, so I was put on monitoring twice weekly. I went to the hospital weekly for NSTs and we were able to keep her in until 39 weeks. I was induced, but I wouldn’t dilate and pitocin put her in extreme distress, so I ended up with an emergency csection. My OB got her here safely, and I recovered easily. Hearing her cry for the first time was amazing. She is a brilliant almost 3 yo now!

My first pregnancy was unplanned, I was on bc and had been taking it properly. My bd at the time was just as freaked out as I was but did the best he could. We ended up getting married, went through some hard times, had our son, who my husband fell in love instantly with. Now a little over a year later we are expecting a baby girl.

We planned our daughter. I didn’t really feel connected to her during my pregnancy it was rough I had gestational diabetes. My boyfriend doesn’t show much emotion so he didn’t really seem excited. She was born 4/6/19 and we love her more and more everyday. It wasn’t the immediate burst of love that I felt with her but I really do love her more everyday.
