Seriously frustrated that the name Elsa is off limits.. stupid movie!! 😤 Ugh! Lol 
I wonder how long it won’t be usable for, 
I’d say it’s acceptable to use Ariel or Aurora by now.
What do you guys think, is it a usable name?

I had no idea you couldn’t use this name... I mean I’m not a fan of it honestly but I didn’t realize you could trade mark a name...

I think it is fine to use now as long as you dont mind hearing the song "let it go" song in humor from time to time.  We named our son Finnegan and I didnt even know there was a song with his name... i do now... people hear his name and start to sing "there was an old man named Michael Finnegan..." probably at least twice a month to me since he was born 🙄.  It isnt that big a deal... but just something to consider with the name.  If it wont bother you, then go for it!  It is truly a lovely name!

My husband is dead set on the name Coraline.... I’m not a fan but he adores it. And part of the reason I don’t like it is the tie to the movie.

Screw anyone that says the name Elsa is off limits! We named our daughter Elsa and we get asked ALL the time if it's after the movie. We have explained nearly a million times that it isn't and that it is the same meaning as Elizabeth ( which we have a neice named that) and we loved the meaning "consecrated to God". This is our Elsa Rose. I think she looks just like her name. Name your daughter whatever you want and give her a name that means something. Good luck!

Also.. that happens with a lot of names in general. Like mine is Caroline and I’m pretty sure I’ll have sweet Caroline by Neil diamond sung to me every time I meet someone until I die. It’s not so bad that it’s a Disney thing 🤷‍♀️😌
