Anyone else pregnant and work with children? I work in a nursery (aka private daycare) I work with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Of course, it involves a lot of lifting heavy children (and I’m tiny I’m only 100lbs and 5ft!) so it’s a struggle as it is, especially when I’m changing toddlers etc.

Sometimes I get the odd kick from them as well, a couple weeks ago I was kicked pretty hard in the stomach by a 2.5 year old so pretty safe to say I’m terrified of working since finding out I’m pregnant!

I’m also a very high risk pregnancy. 5 previous miscarriages and a serious blood clotting disorder. I’m so scared to go to work! Can anyone calm me down and tell me that working with children and being pregnant isn’t as scary as I’m imagining?

Edit: sorry if this sounds ridiculous but because of my condition and previous losses I’m cautious over EVERYTHING. Literally. 🤣
