Injectable progesterone vs vaginal suppositories??

Question

Debating switching from injectable progesterone to vaginal suppositories for my transfer next month because my butt is so sore from this month prepping for ERA.
What’s did you ladies choose and how did it go? Are 3x a day suppositories inconvenient? Any side effects from those (irritation?)

I have been on the suppositories for 10 weeks now since I was 21 weeks because my cervix is short. I only use them once before bed and that’s it. It’s a 200mg pill and will be able to go off of them at 35 weeks

I have been doing the suppositories twice a day after my iui’s. If you go that way make sure you have plenty of pantyliners on hand as you definitely leak all day. And like some else mentioned you can buy the applicators on amazon which make the process easier. The suppositories make me itch like crazy and I felt dirty so I was showering multiple times a day. I was exhausted all the time and had a ton of cramping. I was also warned by the pharmacist about being intimate with my husband as he can absorb some.

I had injections clear till my last week and then the pharmacy ran out of the oil so I had to go to suppository, sure the injection hurts but it only hurts for a minute... I however Hated the suppositories, I thought they were more of a hassle and stressful, they leak out and I was constantly worried that little “gush” was blood.. just more stressful and irritating to me

I haven’t done injections, but I have the little pink pill suppositories. I find them easy and not gross-I just use pantiliners to protect my underwear. It doesn’t ever feel like or look like blood (the coating discharge is neon pink), so I don’t think it would be too scary :-)

Have been doing the suppositories 3x daily...currently on my TWW from FET. They haven’t been too bad but would suggest buying some underwear you can use and then toss. Mine have a wax coating which leaves some grease stains in the liner wasn’t all the way there. You can also buy applicators on Amazon which I found helpful. You get pretty used to the routine. No negative side effects for me.
