How do you know when it’s the right time to add to your family?

I want to add to our family. I’m so beyond ready. The only thing stopping me is finances..not that we can’t but it would be tight. However I feel like there will always be something....what do I do!? Ugh. Positive comments only please

I always thought I would follow the drum of marriage, house and then kids. 
I ended up buying my own house without a partner, later meeting my dream partner and then life lobbed a curve ball at me and I sold my house, moved to a new city and rent an apartment with my boyfriend who I plan on spending the rest of my life with. 
Marriage isn’t something we feel we need and we don’t plan on buying a house for a while. 
So last summer I was reflecting about the above things and thought, so when will I have kids if I’m not following the “marriage/house/kids”? 
Well I’m in a stable and loving relationship, happy in our home, stable with my career...so why not have kids now? We decided that for us one kid is what we wanted and decided to start trying. 
Today I am 38weeks pregnant and happier than ever. 
Sure we might grow out of our home one day, we might struggle from time to time but we’re ready to face it together. 
We know what our finances are and budget accordingly. We take second hand things and save for things we want.

I don’t think anyone is ever 100% ready.  My old boss and I had this convo when I was pregnant with my first.  She was well to do, stable relationship, beautiful home that she owned, and they still didn’t feel “ready.”     We just knew it was time.  Our son is two and we want a close sibling for him.  We’re more stable than ever.  Could we be better financially prepared? Yeah probably.  Will it bankrupt us? No.  We have room in our home.  I say you’ll just know when it’s right for your family even if the situation isn’t picture perfect.☺️❤️

I was the person that was like “well maybe when this happens or maybe when we do this or maybe when...” and then all of a sudden I just decided it was the right time.  I had put SO off for a year with excuses and then I suddenly decided it was now or I’d continue to make excuses until it was too late.  I’m so happy I did now ❤️

I thought my situation was doable. I had a stable career, my own place, loving relationship. Found out I was pregnant and life decided to beat my ass lol. Lost my job, my relationship ended, now I’m in the process of moving back in with family till I get back on feet. It’s never truly a perfect time mama.

When our first asked for a brother or sister we realised it was time, we were only going to have the 1 but plans change :) if you are extremely financially incapable then probs best to wait but you don't need to be rolling in money for another addition. You'll just know :)

We were waiting to TTC our second until our first was turning 3 so that she would be in state-funded preschool and we would still only have one to pay for daycare. We weren’t careful one night and I got pregnant from it a year earlier than we planned. I was freaking out at first. Still kind of am...but she will be here in 40 days or less and we are thrilled! Sometimes you’ll “just know” and other times God will.
