C section or no C section

Baby measures really big about 7 lbs at 36 weeks now , i have hip dysplasia and for the first year og my life i slept in a full body brace to kerp my hips in place , doctor offered me a c section due to this , but it scares me to be cut open as well, how was ur experience with gettingg a c section
