Birth Center Thoughts - Second Time Momma

Hi ladies!

I’m interested to hear your thoughts and experiences with a birthing center. I had a successful medication-free birth at the hospital 3 years ago. As a result, we decided to take the birth center route this time since I now know what my body is capable of. I feel comfortable with everything medically. However, they send you home about 6 hours after birth!

Did any other mommas do this with second or subsequent kids? My biggest concern is adjusting our 3yo to the baby’s arrival in our home, and that just doesn’t seem like much time. How did you handle being home so quickly and ensuring it was handled well with your kids?
