Couples Trip In August.. Advice Please ✈️ ✈️ 🚂

Me & my boyfriends birthday is the same day haha in August & we were thinking of possibly going on a trip to Canada, I live in MA. So it’s around 5/6 hour drive or take a plane, or possibly going somewhere else in US. I’ve never been on a plane or traveled anywhere besides to NYC, soo what are some tips on planning a trip & where is somewhere we can go to that’s relatively cheap & a good time? Where have you guys been, where’d you stay, where’d you go to, how did you travel there etc.
