“Home induction” tips?

Hey ladies! Just wondering if any of you had any tips for helping “induce” labor at home? My obgyn doesn’t do inductions so if i go over my due date I’m going to rip my hair out😂

Please don’t do castor oil! It can cause your baby to poop and they will eat it and it will not end well.

Castor oil, lots of walking and exercise, I think there's certain teas you can drink.

Castor oil is dangerous advice. It irritates your bowels, which could cause contractions/ possibly false labor. Which then can put unnecessary stress on baby. It also can make baby poop inside and then they inhale that poop and could possibly get sick/die. Not worth it. 
Things like walking, squats and bouncing on a yoga ball are all great excercises butvwill only really progress you if already in labor. Having sex/ orgasming can possibly cause contractions, and sperm has prostaglandins in it that can soften the cervix over time. But really baby will come when ready or dr intervention. Remember to stay hydrated, get rest and try to enjoy the last bit of your pregnancy. Due dates are just estimates and it’s normal to go to 41/42 weeks 💕

I tried them all and NOTHING worked for me. I will say- DONT do castor oil. That was a hell I didn’t need while waiting for labor 😂 I hope you have better luck than I did!

Don’t know if it was coincidence or not but I went walk 3 miles when I was 39 weeks and one day and I had her within the next 24 hours.
