Stroller/car seat transition?

Question

Usually when I take walks with the stroller I put the car seat in the stroller (we have a Britax that clicks into the stroller).  My baby is about 4 months old, 13lbs and holds her head up well.  Can we go ahead and take walks with her strapped in directly to the stroller?  Having trouble finding a concrete answer.

I don’t think so, I’m pretty sure you have to wait until baby can sit up on their own. At least that’s what I’m waiting for before I transition my baby directly into the stroller. But I could be wrong.

I switched mine this week.  I have an uppababy which is pretty adjustable so I set the seat to face me for our walk and he did great until the last 5 or so of the 30 minutes,  but I think that was more that he was getting tired and couldn't figure out how to sleep sitting upright.

I’m sure he’s okay to be in the stroller as long as he can hold his head up! I have the uppababy that had an option to buy an infant insert for the stroller, and all it basically is is a little wedge that goes in between the seat and back. So if you put him in and it seems like he’s a bit small, try just rolling up a receiving blanket or something and putting it in there

Max is 4 months and goes in the older seat of my bugaboo cameleon i just recline it he loves being able to look around also in the uk we are advised not to put baby in a carseat for over half an hour and not to use it on the pram x

Yea I’ve used the stroller seat on ours for a while. My little guy is 4 months. Just buckle him in and he’ll be perfectly fine

Yes you can , ivy sits up in her stroller

I put my baby in the stroller. I recline the seat a little and roll swaddles and place them on either side of him so he is more stable. My baby love s being able to see. I have the Britax B-agile stroller.

We transitioned ours but the seat reclines and she is almost sitting unassisted
