Would you lose interest for this reason?

Question

So there was this cute guy, and we talked & he was really cool and weird, so I kinda liked him. 
But when I told him I struggled with some health problems and got sick sonetimes, he said he'd grown up he was always just told to "suck it up" so he kinda expects other to shut up about being ill, and complained about someone he worked with going home sick. 
So I was all like: "NOPE." After that, because dam, I just want someone who is understanding and chill about me needing to relax or needing certain things to help me get better. 
Already dated unsympathetic guys in the past, NO. THANKS. 
What do you think? Do you try to find empathetic guys?

I don’t think it’s him being unsympathetic but rather just raised differently. I understand from his point of view because I was always told the same that. That in no way excuses his behavior and not even trying to see from your point of view. He was wrong. It would help to talk to him about how you were raised different and help him learn to be more sympathetic.

Idk, I was raised like he was. To me, wanting to rest and relax is fine, but it’s unattractive to me if someone is always sick or needing to rest. I like being active and even if I’m sick, I usually push through it unless I have a high fever.
