Nipple stimulation?

Not a birth story ! But I was wondering has anyone ever tried this and what’s the odds of it working ?

I’m 37&1 but I’m not planning on doing anything (natural induction methods) until 38weeks because I’d love to go into labor on my own and I’ll be induced the day I turn 39weeks so if I could do something that would assist in helping my body along in the process before being medically induced , I’d be so happy ! I’m already 2-3cm dilated and 70% .

The main method I’ve heard of is nipple stimulation , it’s the only “scientifically proven” method from what google says but I want to know if anyone had any success stories with it .
