Moms of baptized babies.. question!

I’ve searched around a little bit and can’t seem to find the answers I’m looking for so I figured I would post here!

Anyway! Moms of baptized (Catholic) babies... did you have a little party or get together afterwards? Do people gift your child anything? Did you get something for the godparents??

My daughter is getting baptized in a month or so and I don’t really know what people do these days for it. I was thinking maybe just a little brunch get together afterwards?
