Gestational diabetes advice

I’m 20 weeks 6 Days at my ob appointment she said the glucose test came back borderline, the three blood tests you do the first 2 came back completely normal the last one was borderline. I have to see a diabetic specialist for an assessment. I was expecting this would happen I have pcos & before the pregnancy I was using corticosteroids for psoriasis both of which can affect sugar levels, I’m not going to stress over it I know that my baby is healthy & normal & his growth is where it should be. But what is others experience with gestational diabeties it any advice anyone could offer me.
