Breached baby

Has anyone had their baby manually flipped? How successful was it? Did your baby go into distress and require an emergency c section? I have a very large baby at 33 weeks, and to add to it he is breached. They’re scheduling me to attempt the manual turn, and with no success will result in a c section. I’m very nervous for both of these things. I do not want to put my baby in distress, but also do not want a c section. Any advice? How successful was your manual turns?
