How has pregnancy changed your life?

I feel like pregnancy is changing everything, including my friendships. I guess I sort of expected it, but it’s still unsettling when I was hoping for this season to be more settled and simple. It’s like people have friendships with categories of people in the same life stage as them... 
Please tell me I’m not the only one with this feeling?

It has also changed everything. Me and my husband are some of the only ones married and with kids. A lot of our friends got "accidently" pregnant at like 18 and they kids older and they arent with the person they had a baby with so they don't always have there kids. We really have been mostly hanging out with family. Which is fine by me. My sisters are all the best friends I need lol but my husband has really cut down on even his best friend because of excessive partying and not having their life together. Were not even young to be having kids! Lol I'm 25 and he's 26

I am really not one to have a lot of friends, maybe I have a good 2 friends that I talk to regularly and that’s it. 
The change I’ve noticed within me is that I am so peaceful now....before I was so affected by other people’s problems especially my families but now it’s like I choose how I wanna react and it’s amazing. I also absolutely love being pregnant so everything physical that’s happening is being enjoyed to the fullest. Heartburn, sleepless nights and all

I feel like most of my close friendships are back home * we live provinces away from where our friends and family mainly reside. Are pretty well the same, everyone I’ve had in my life for a really long time things haven’t changed much. I do have a friend or two that I feel like they’ve distanced themselves from us but I feel like that has more to do with where they are in their lives and less to do with our life.
