Gestational Diabetes Test Help!!!!

Hey Ladies,

So I’m on my second pregnancy here and have just been told I got Gd for the 2nd time had with my first son.

I had my first test done in feb and the results were normal and I had my 2nd done on Wednesday I did do the 12 hour fast however not gonna lie I was very hungry and wanted McDonald’s so I had McDonalds but I had chicken nuggets cheese bites and a doughnut about half an hour before starting the fast so I didn’t eat anything from 12 like they say not to and only drank water.

Also with my first son I had terrible heartburn so I drank a glass of milk during the night. So they made me wait a few hours before doing the test and I still had it (yes he had lots and lots of hair when he was born my partner mistakes his head for my hair 🤣🤣🤣🤣)

but I felt like throwing up the McDonald’s and I still felt sick slightly when waking up and nearly did throw up during the night plus the heartburn was unreal!

Could this affect the test results at all?
