Scraped face treatments?

My daughter face planted on pavement when running at the playground yesterday and she has a scrape and some swelling. Anyone have any tips to help make her more comfortable? It looks so painful 😢 I don’t think I can get her to hold ice on it 🤔

Motrin to reduce the swelling. Then I would clean/dab it with warm salt water on cotton ball and put very thin layer of antibiotic ointment on it. That will keep it from drying out and hurting more by making the scab pull.

Ahh man! I'm sorry, poor thing. Popsicles fix everything for my daughter even when she is profusely bleeding from busted lips 🤷 I think it's mainly just making her happy, not really much you can do besides try not to touch or aggravate it.
