Sex cause labor??

When I tell you I’m completely done being pregnant and ready for my little nugget to get here! I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant! I’ve been told rough sex will cause labor? Is this true?? Lol I’m too tired to even think about sex but hey if it helps 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes & no 
Semen softens cervix and orgasms can kick start contractions. Rough sex really has nothing to do with it, if anything itll just cause discomfort lol

Sex will only work if your body is ready. Orgasm could potentially bring on contractions but it could also bring on false labor. Sperm has prostaglandins in it that can soften the cervix over time. I personally wouldn’t try anything till my due date.

At 37+5 I was masterbating in the bath. Almost immediately after, my water started breaking. Contractions started about an hour later. Baby was born within 6 hours!

It started contractions for me with my second at 38 weeks. We weren't that rough or anything just well.. I got into it think it may be the last for a few months lol
We did it that night and after had a few pieces I guess of my plug come out when I think back to it. Then the next morning some cramping and we went to breakfast and it became contractions then I had some bloody streaked discharge and felt really wet like I was leaking. Went to dr later and it wasn't my water breaking but he did induce me because of my contractions and my BP being very high.
