Personally I see nothing wrong with exploring your sex life while in high school, as long as you’re safe about it. I’ve never had a threesome myself, but my best friend used to have them all the time when we were your age. From what she told me, it was way better when it involved someone they didn’t have a connection with. But if she’s truly someone you both want, then just have a mature conversation about it. If she’s really your best friend, she won’t make fun of you or spread anything even if she’s not interested.
